County Clerk Announces Voter Canvass Underway

VOTER CANVASS

Pemiscot County Clerk, Pam Treece, announced that a voter canvass is underway. State and federal law require that voter registration records be canvassed every two years. This helps us maintain a more accurate voter count.

All voters in Pemiscot County will receive a new voter registration card. The new cards are blue in color and should be mailed out this week. Please discard old voter cards when you receive your new one.

*If the address is correct on the card and there are no name changes, the card should be kept and used as voter ID.

*If your card has a P.O. Box, but does not show your 911 physical address, please call the clerk’s office – 573-333-4203.

*If a voter has changes in name or address, they should fill out the back of the voter card and mail or hand deliver the card to the County Clerk’s office.

*If a voter has voted in the last election and fails to receive a new card or has a question, they are encouraged to stop by the County Clerk’s office at 610 Ward Avenue or contact Pam, Melinda, Dana or Kristy at 333-4203 for additional information.
